Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible! We just finished painting and everything was great until we began to pull off the tape! It tore off old paint from our ceiling ! It’s horrible! We still have tape to take off around the fireplace and I’m scare it’s going to rip the old paint. This is going to cost so much extra money to fix! Very frustrated and angry!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I hate this tape!!! I will ***never*** use this brand ever again. My husband and I used this when painting our rooms (to get our house ready to sell). It frequency ripped when it shouldn't, let the paint bleed through, then tore up the drywall when it should've released. It was on for a maximum of 5 hours. Because of this awful tape, we had to spend more time and money fixing things that we shouldn't have had to fix.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst painters tape ever! I bought a big six pack and probably three single rolls at my local Lowe's and I regret it so much!! Some places it wouldn't stay stuck to the wall and other places it stuck so hard when I went to take it off (the next day) it wanted to peel my paint off, I had to score between the tape and my fresh wall to get it to come off. Then when I got it off it had still bled under the tape the I had to free hand all of my lines. (Which looked way better than the tape line!) It also tore in to a million little shreds as I tried to get it off it was an absolute nightmare and a total waste of the 50 bucks I spent and the hours I spent taping my house. Never again!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tearing paint off We use this paint to tape notifications to garage doors. The tape has suddenly started to take the paint off of those doors. We now have an added expense for this project, to repaint a crapload of garage doors! We need a product that won't tear paint off. This is happening same day -- not weeks later.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Tape I am painting a room that is carpeted. I taped off the baseboards and also taped brown paper to the carpet for protection. As I was painting with the worst can of Behr paint I have ever used--the paint just ran and splattered off my paint pad-- down the wall where the tape had just fallen off the baseboards so I now have paint all over the baseboards and on the carpet. I now have a huge mess, paint in the carpet and all over my freshly painted baseboards, so my advice is don't use this tape!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst. Tape. Ever. We had painted our living room, then two weeks later added our crown moulding and taped along the edge of the crown so we could caulk without making a mess. When we carefully pulled the tape off (within a day), it ripped paint off in a dozen places, straight down to the drywall. I was so angry! However, I chalked it up to a lack of primer under the paint, because the trouble spots were only in areas that had received significant patch work. but THEN, this morning I used it to protect the face panel on our BRAND NEW gas fireplace while we finished the surrounding stonework... this evening when I removed the tape, it stripped the finish off the face panel!! The fireplace is a modern, beautiful flat-black finish, and now the bare metal is showing through across the top of the face. There is absolutely no way a multi-surface "safe release" painter's tape should have done this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wish I could give it zero stars This tape is terrible, it pulled the paint right if the trim and ruined the oak around my fireplace. It added hours of extra work to get little paint brushes and try to fix the trim. Not sure how I'm going to fix the oak. Do not buy this product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible product Taped my whole bathroom in this, As soon as I pulled the tape off, the paint started peeling off along with the tape. Thought maybe it needed longer to dry, waited 24 hours and the paint continued to peel off. I am so disappointed in this product, now I need to go back, sand the areas and repaint/retrim. This product should be taken off the market!
