3M™ Professional Faceshield is rated 1.4 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from broke before i could even scratch it not sure it it is a materials thing but the head band cracked at the grommet after two uses. I liked the large clear face shield that allows me to wear glasses while grinding. too bad that it broke. trying to get it replaced.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor design I bought this one as a spare since my 2 month old one was cracked at the grommet. I wore it once and had it crack at the grommet on the right side, same as the other one. I have been using these face shields for years, but these 2 were the shortest lasting of them. Most of them lasted a year or 2. Several broke at the grommet, and the rest had straps break. I thought it was the hot dry Phoenix climate drying out the plastic, but a 2 hour failure doesn't seem to be a climate problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed. I just purchased two of these for a class. It was recommended by the salesman due to the price point. Unfortunately, one the grommets are so loose the shield slips until the helmet portion cuts off vision.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from good product I had this face shield for about a year, used twice, strap broke at the eyelet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor workmanship My face shield broke because one of the grommets was crimped excessively bending one part of it in, making it extremely hard to tilt up the shield. Not until it broke did I see the grommet was distorted. It was only used a half dozen times when I used my saw chain sharpener. Also the band adjuster would not lock into the band, and would slip out constantly. Dan

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer beware I bought 4 of these a few months ago for my personal use and for 3 sons. I liked the large clear shield and the protection provided. But after 3 light uses for DIY projects, my unit has a cracked headband at the grommets that permit the shield to pivot. I spoke to 3M about the problem and learned that I could return to the vendor where I made my purchase, provided that it was within 30 days of purchase (which it is not). Face shields are great for safety, but I can not recommend this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken - Exactly like other reviews here Worked well for about a year, then broke at the pivot. Visor will no longer stay in position. This exact failure is reported in other reviews here, so it's a design feature (failure.) It's not easily repairable, so it is now useless junk.
