In the semiconductor industry, it is ideal for automated test equipment (ATE) and wafer processing equipment which requires extreme low temperatures. It has also been used as an autocascade refrigerant. 3M™ Novec™ 7000 Engineered Fluid has a very low global warming potential (GWP) and offers reduced greenhouse gas emissions when compared to PFCs - without sacrificing performance.
