Great for veterinary medicine and vet anesthesia
My old Tyco (25-plus years) was getting a little worn out, so I knew I needed a good stethoscope. The reason I didn't buy Litmann years ago was because the tube would end up breaking or cracked in the center. I saw to many taped scopes. I just tried the new Classic 2 I purchased and I am THRILLED with the quality of the acoustics. The only reason I did not choose the Master Cardiology is because the head is to big to use on kittens, some puppies and wildlife. I honestly believe it is just as good as the Cardiology 3 or Master Cardiology. Oh by the way vets and vet students, the 27 inch is perfectly fine for use in small and large animal veterinary medicine. If you primarily practice Equine medicine, then I would consider the vet scope, but the master Classic 2 is AWESOME!!!!

Great for Nursing Students
This is my second stethoscope, My first stethoscope was a hand me down and I figured they are all made the same... NOPE! The Master Classic 2 is an excellent stethoscope to discern different heart and lung sounds. With my old stethoscope it was difficult to detect fine lung sounds like fine crackles. Heart sounds are extremely clear with the adjustable tuning diaphragm. Dollar for dollar this stethoscope is worth the money.

Topnotch Quality and Worth buying
As a paramedic student, I only use the finest and excellent brand of stethoscope I can find in the medical shop. I am looking for its accuracy, effectiveness and brand we could trust. This Master Classic II Black Edition is at its perfectly made and top grade design. Suitable for my fellow EMT/EMS and Paramedics.

Awesome stethoscope!!
As a Cardiopulmonary student I needed a better stethoscope than what we got with our equipment bag, the stethoscope we got was garbage. The Black Edition not only looks nice but it works great! Can't wait for next clinical go round!

It is perfect for medical students
It is useful and you can hear heart and lung sounds very well, of course not as accurate as you would do using a Cardiology III stethoscope but it is fine for a medical student. For Cardiology or Anestesiology invest in something better.

Wonderful stethoscope
I have always used and trusted the Littman brand. I've purchased numerous ones from them. My only issue with this stethoscope is that the black plating fades off of the eartubes. (I've only had it for 7 months)

You can hear everything with this stethscope!
My ears aren't so great so I needed a stethoscope I could properly assess my patients with. I love this one! I hear everything and feel now confident when I'm listening.
