    Our 3M™ Hookit™ Soft Abrasive Disc Pad is ideal for use with fine grade abrasives and for sanding primer on conformable surfaces. This 1” soft foam pad features a 45° beveled edge, providing support and control for technicians using fine grit 8” 3M Hookit™ discs (sold separately) on low-speed polishers or grinders. Our Hookit™ hook-and-loop attachment system makes changing discs fast and easy.

    Get the Most from Flat and Coarse-Grade Sanding Jobs
    Built specifically for low-speed polishing and grinding, our 3M™ Hookit™ Soft Abrasive Disc Pad puts 1" of soft density foam between the machine and the abrasive disc for added support and control and finer finishes in collision repair. The foam is conformable to provide consistent application across uneven shapes, yet strong enough to withstand the torque of machine grinders or polishers. A 45-degree bevel creates a good edge for refined finishing.

    The disc pad works with fine grade 8" 3M™ Hookit™ abrasive disc (sold separately). And its 5/8-11 interior threads fit a variety of low-speed (maximum 3000 RPM) power polishing and grinding tools.

    Part of Our Hookit™ System for Faster Change-Outs
    The Hookit™ hook-and-loop feature makes disc attachment, removal, and re-attachment easy, and allows technicians to re-use abrasive discs for longer abrasive life. Hookit™ disc pads have J-shaped hooks of the type most commonly used in everyday hook-and-loop applications. Hookit™ disc pads grip the brushed nylon loop backings of 3M™ Hookit™ discs (sold separately) for a firm hold and a finer finish. The Hookit™ system is designed for work spaces where adhesive backed discs may become contaminated by dust, dirt, or flying debris. It saves time and money especially during jobs requiring multiple disc change-outs.
