3M™ Hi-Strength 90 Spray Adhesive is an extremely versatile, fast-drying spray adhesive that bonds strongly to a wide range of materials. Our permanent bond provides fast results to keep projects moving ahead. The spray formula is easy to dispense, offering a variable-width spray pattern, and applies directly onto surfaces and materials where needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wish I had heard of this stuff sooner!!! I have used it on metal to fabric, fabric to plastic and metal to plastic! All applications worked out beyond my expectations!!! You need to follow directions... someone had waited 10 minutes and it didn't turn out. I have only wired 3 minutes. The directions say use your knuckle to test the glue, if it doesn't stick to the glue is ready to bond! Also someone mentioned it comes out like silly string... mine does too in an odd way! It doesn't spray like a fine mist! It sprays like it's an adhesive!!! Either way I love this stuff. I have a huge drawer full of different glues including 1 spray. I could throw out all my glue, adhesives and epoxies for this one can! It is my go to! I'm a crafter so I have many different bonding selections and they have all worked including heavy weights items!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works on polyethylene sheet for underlayment. I found a number of reviews that suggested the 90 would work for my project, but none that stated it would. Well, it did. 3M 90 bonded polyethylene sheet to drywall and Mapei Aqua Defense coated OSB (Advantec) flooring. Yes, I overbuild, for such is the privilege of the DIYer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bonding PTFE (Teflon) Film to substrate I needed to apply a PTFE film to the interior of a cabinet. The cabinet was made of Melamine. There would be no stress on the film I just needed it to stay. I tested a small scrap to the melamine and it adhered extremely well. I was really unsure of the best method of applying the film. There was a bonding using superglue that would absolutely work, but it was difficult to apply, and would only be used along the edges. While it was simple, it was a multistep process that would also release some very unpleasant odors. 3M suggested this adhesive with the codicil that it had never been tested with PTFE. It worked like a charm. I highly recommend this adhesive!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Silly String This is called a spray, but it comes out of the nozzle like silly string. I followed the directions and shook the can, but still only see a spaghetti like stringy substance come out of the can.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will not bond to metal at all I purchased a can of this adhesive today to bond rubber to metal. I prepped the metal by cleaning it with a wire wheel then following up with brake cleaner to remove any residue. I sprayed the adhesive and let it sit for 10 minutes, making sure no solvent was left. The adhesive bonded well to the rubber, but the adhesive just peeled right off of the metal, leaving the metal clean. I took it a step further and roughed up the metal surface with an angle grinder and cleaned the surface again. Same result. Perhaps I bought the wrong stuff, but it says metal right on the front of the can.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 3M 90 COntact Adhesive Hey there, I'm a small company that makes practice xylophone pads. I've been in business for 4 years and found the 90 strength the best adhesive for my product. Recently it has not been doing well. I've had a number of instances where the bars are coming off. I've made over 600 so far and only a few have had problems. In the past two months I've had 3 in a row where the adhesive isn't holding up. Did you change your recipe? I'm now having to send a can of this to my customers to fix it themselves. Not good! Any advise?
