    3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomer FE 5620Q is a copolymer of vinylidene fluoride and hexafluoropropylene with a fluorine content of 65.9%. This fluoroelastomer (FKM) is the low-viscosity version of 3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomer FE 5640Q used in transfer and injection molding, extrusion and calendering. It offers improved scorch resistance at high molding temperatures.

    Excellent Mold Release and Improved Cure Technology
    3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomer FE 5620Q offers excellent mold release, meaning it can be used in automated injection molding equipment. Additionally, it features an improved proprietary incorporated cure technology that results in a more consistent part size from successive molding cycles.

    Dyneon fluoroelastomer FE 5620Q can be compounded using standard water-cooled internal mixers or two-roll mills with standard fillers and ingredients utilized in typical FKM formulations. The dry ingredients should be blended before adding to the masticated gum. For best results, FE 5620Q should be banded on the mill prior to adding the blended dry ingredients. Once mixed, the compounded stocks display excellent processing characteristics and storage stability.

    Different Quantities to Meet the Needs of the Job
    Dyneon fluoroelastomer FE 5620Q is packaged in slab form and is available in a returnable bulk shipping container system for 1,320 Ibs (600 kg) of material. The bulk container system is comprised of 48 individual polyethylene bags containing 27.5 Ibs (12.5 kg) of product. Smaller quantities are available in 55.1 Ib (25.0 kg) boxes.
