3M™ 7Li Enriched Lithium Hydroxide is used throughout the world in pressurized water reactors (PWRs) to neutralize the acidity created by the addition of boric acid to primary coolant solutions.

Controlling coolant pH is important to limit corrosion of internal reactor components while reducing formation of unwanted decay products in pressurized water reactors. That's why 3M™ 7Li Enriched Lithium Hydroxide is used throughout the world to neutralize the acidity created by the addition of boric acid to primary coolant solutions.
