    3M™ Flame Barrier Paper products provide very high flame resistance, excellent arc and track resistance, good dielectric strength and good thermal performance to safely contain electrical hazards. 3M flame barrier paper is thin and flexible and made primarily of inorganic materials that are easily converted.

    Dimensionally stable, it is available with coatings to maximize or reduce reflectivity. Use it for a wide range of applications: general purpose lighting luminaires (including LED type), electric and electric hybrid vehicles (e.g. between batteries, power converter, etc.), appliances (e.g. vacuum cleaner, slow cooker, rice cooker, etc.) and electrical devices (e.g. timers, actuators, switches, etc.).

    3M(TM) Flame Barrier FRB Series is a base material with a very high UL94 5VA flame rating.

    • Designed for use as an electrical flame barrier in electrical equipment.
    • Also designed for use as part of a polymeric enclosure for electrical equipment, such as lighting luminaires, electric/hybrid vehicles, appliances and electrical devices.
    • Offers excellent flame resistance, very good arc and track resistance, high dielectric strength and is easily converted.
    • Available in beige/white marbled plus white to maximize efficiency and black to minimize light pollution.
