BT & IT interns have the opportunity to address relevant business concerns through both individual and team-oriented projects within functional areas throughout 3M, such as Applications, Infrastructure, Quality, Security, Data Intelligence, Master Data, Manufacturing and Lean Agile. The projects represent real challenges faced by 3M and mirror the work of our full-time employees.
A BT & IT internship is 10-12 weeks, typically starting in May and running through August.
Internships within BT & IT are located at 3M’s global headquarters in Maplewood, MN.
BT & IT interns could be assigned to any of the following areas:
At 3M, your IT internship is not just a summer job, but an experience. Activities include but are not limited to: a group project outside your functional role; tours of 3M’s data center and a manufacturing site; presenting to IT leadership; planning for your future through a mentoring program; and networking with other 3M IT employees.
