Bondo® has a wide range of fillers that can be used for almost any repair application. Whether you're fixing dents, removing rust, or patching holes, our fillers can provide an effective solution.
Bondo® is known for its exceptional strength and adhesion. Our two-part formula forms a strong bond with the surface it's applied to, creating a permanent repair.
Bondo® helps to get you back on the road quickly. Most of our fillers are sandable in 30 minutes or less, promoting efficiency and convenience. A fast dry time ensures that your project is done in hours, not days.
Bondo® products are designed to be user-friendly and easy to shape, sand, and finish. This makes Bondo® suitable for both professionals and DIYers, simplifying the repair process and delivering professional-looking results.
Accessories to help complete your repair:
Some Bondo fillers are waterproof, such as our Short and Long Strand Reinforced Fiberglass Fillers and our Liquid Resin for Fiberglass. Others are not waterproof, and we recommend keeping them dry until final finishing and sealing.
Bondo seals holes and repairs damage caused by rust, but before it can be applied, the rust needs to be completely removed.
Store Bondo in a cool, dry place with a consistent room temperature. Bondo that's stored in places like uninsulated garages may experience extreme heat and/or cold, which will affect its shelf life.
No. Primer keeps Bondo from absorbing paint and prevents dark spots in the repair.
Yes, the chemical reaction between the filler and hardener generates some heat. As you mix, keeping the mixture spread thin across your mixing board will give a slight increase in working time.
Not required, but highly recommended. When donned correctly, a respirator may help protect from fumes if not working in a well-ventilated area.
As a guideline, maximum filler thickness of Bondo should not exceed 1/4 inch.
It's recommended that Bondo be applied to a surface where the paint is sanded to the bare metal or substrate. It is also acceptable to apply Bondo Filler over the top of automotive epoxy primer.
Bondo Filler is sold by weight. It is normal for the filler not to reach the top of the can and allows room for mixing without spillage.
