SP media has the widest nominal pore size range relative to other 3M Zeta Plus media offerings, including a greater number of grades. SP media also has grades with larger nominal pore sizes than LA or ZB media.
LA media is the cleanest 3M Zeta Plus media family offered. 3M Zeta Plus LA series low aluminum (LA) filter media are designed to provide low levels of extractables, especially aluminum.
ZB media offers a higher charge level than SP or LA media. It offers single layer and dual layer grades with a smaller nominal pore size than either the SP or the LA media family.

The 3M™ Emphaze™ AEX Hybrid Purifier is a combination of two types of media (Q-functional nonwoven and nonfunctional membrane) that work together to provide unsurpassed process fluid clarity and particle size control for the process fluid when using a single unit operation.
