3M™ DBI-SALA® Confined Space HC (High Capacity) Short Reach Davit Arm is constructed of powder-coated aluminium and is designed to be paired with 3M™ DBI-SALA® Confined Space HC Universal Davit Mast. When used as part of our complete system, this product is certified to EN795:2012, CEN/TS 16415:2013, EN1496:2012, and meets machinery directive 2006/42EC requirements for material handling.
For a short reach davit arm designed to be paired with the 3M™ DBI SALA® Confined Space HC (high Capacity) Universal Davit Mast to create a short reach davit assembly, use 3M™ DBI SALA® Confined Space HC (High Capacity) Short Reach Davit Arm. Our short reach davit arm component is adjustable and securely locked using detent pins which are attached using retracting pin lanyards that help prevent breaks and snags. It's constructed primarily of custom extruded aluminium, and finished in a mixture of hi visibility green and gloss black powder coatings. When used as part of our complete system, this product is certified to EN795:2012 for fall arrest. Multiple user fall arrest is supported for up to two users weighing 140 kg each, meeting the requirements of CEN/TS 16415:2013. Material handling capabilities are made possible by meeting the requirements of the machinery directive for manually operated lifting 2006/42EC. Capacity is granted up to 205 kg in mobile bases, and 340 kg in fixed bases when suitable devices are equipped. Rescue is also made possible meeting the requirements of EN1496:2012 when used with approved 3M rescue devices. All 3M™ DBI SALA® HC bases are designed to be used in combination with 3M™ DBI SALA® HC Davit Masts, and together form a perfectly matched confined space rescue and work support system.
