The 3M™ Bair Hugger™ Small Lower Body Warming Blanket, 53700 is a single-use lower-body forced-air warming blanket that helps prevent hypothermia and maintain normothermia in children or small adult patients undergoing upper-body surgery, which has been shown to reduce the risk of surgical site infection (SSI)(1,2). Developed for smaller patients, it can be used in the supine, lateral or prone positions.

The 3M™ Bair Hugger™ Small Lower Body Warming Blanket, 53700 consists of a soft, comfortable, lightweight, material with perforations across the blanket to provide uniform convective warming for your patients.

Suggested applications
  • 3M™ Bair Hugger™ Temperature Management Solutions are indicated for hypothermic patients or normothermic patients for whom induced hypothermia or localized temperature therapy is clinically indicated. In addition, the solutions can be used to provide patient thermal comfort when conditions exist that may cause patients to become too warm or too cold. The temperature management systems can be used with adult and pediatric patients. Bair Hugger Temperature Management Solutions should only be used by trained medical professionals
