    Our premium performance 3M™ PTFE Glass Cloth Tape 5451 has a brown woven glass cloth backing impregnated with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). This tape provides a slick surface on process machinery and offers an extremely low coefficient of friction which, in combination with a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive, creates a non-stick surface that performs at elevated temperatures.

    Use 3M™ PTFE Glass Cloth Tape 5451, coated with a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive, to provide a slick release surface on rollers, binders, formers on stitchers and other processing machinery. Our tape has very low moisture absorption – allowing it to perform in humid environments. It has a thick PTFE coating for an exceptionally smooth non-stick, low-friction surface. The reinforced, woven cloth fabric base has increased tensile strength, enabling it to resist wear, tears and punctures. It’s flexible and conformable, able to wrap around rolling surfaces and in spiral patterns.
