Use Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ Clean and Strip XT Disc for aggressive cleaning without damage to the base material. Our XT discs combine coarse silicon carbide abrasive with durable, rigid, non-woven material to aggressively clean, remove coatings, rust and weld discolouration – without significantly altering the base material. The coarse grade abrasive is heat resistant and fast cutting while the open-web construction resists loading, to provide consistent surface conditioning results. These discs come with the Roloc attachment system for fast easy disc change-outs – ideal for multi-step finishing processes. Silicon carbide is a synthetic mineral that’s very sharp and commonly used for low-pressure applications such as paint preparation.
