3M™ Novec™ 7700 Engineered Fluid is non-flammable and has a low global warming potential for use in heat transfer applications. Novec 7700 fluid shares many of the properties of perfluorocarbons (PFCs) and perfluoropolyethers (PFPEs), making it a viable option for replacing them in many applications, such as semiconductor, test equipment, electronic cooling, and industrial/pharmaceutical.*

3M™ Novec™ 7700 Engineered Fluid is useful as a heat transfer liquid for cooling reactors in the pharmaceutical and chemical processing industries. In the semiconductor industry, it is ideal for automated test equipment (ATE) and wafer processing equipment which requires extreme low temperatures. It has also been used as an autocascade refrigerant. 3M™ Novec™ 7700 Engineered Fluid has a very low Global Warming Potential (GWP) and offers reduced greenhouse gas emissions when compared to PFCs - without sacrificing performance.
