Sensitivity

The unique chemistry of Scotchbond™ Universal Adhesive allows formation of a distinct hybrid layer and a consistent bond whether dentin is kept moist or dry. Many total-etch systems require dentin to be kept moist to enable hybrid layer formation and a consistent bond. A lack of hybrid layer or reduction of bond strength may lead to patient sensitivity.
