Founded in 1913, City of Hope is one of a handful of Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the United States as designated by the National Cancer Institute. U.S. News and World Report has named City of Hope one of America's best medical centers for cancer treatment. In addition, it is one of the world's leading research and treatment centers for cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening diseases.

Just northeast of Los Angeles some of the world's most knowledgeable physicians, researchers, scientists and health care professionals join forces. Hundreds of thousands of volunteers and donors also offer worldwide support and make it possible to continue the lifesaving work.
