SCOTCH-BRITE™ EVERYTHING AND THE KITCHEN SINK SWEEPSTAKES
Official Rules

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. The Scotch-BriteTM Everything And The Kitchen Sink Sweepstakes is open and offered only to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia (“DC”), who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees and directors of 3M (“Sponsor”), and its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, agents, franchisees, and advertising and promotion agencies, 3M distributors and 3M dealers and their respective employees (and their respective IRS dependents, immediate family members [children, spouse, parents, siblings] and individuals residing in their same household) are not eligible to participate. This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws, and is void in AK, HI, and where prohibited by law. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Promotion. The Promotion starts at 12:00:01 a.m. Central Standard Time (“CST”) on January 1, 2008 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. CST on June 30, 2008 (“Promotion Period”).

2. HOW TO ENTER: You may enter the Scotch-BriteTM Everything And The Kitchen Sink Sweepstakes on the internet or by mail. To enter on the internet: you must access the Sponsor’s Internet Website at: http://www.scotchbrite.com/50sweeps and click on the Scotch-Brite™ Everything And The Kitchen Sink Sweepstakes button which will take you to the entry page. On the entry page, you must enter the registration information requested (name, mailing address, e-mail address, etc.) and you must acknowledge that you understand and accept the Official Rules by clicking on the “I’ve read and agree to the Everything and the Kitchen Sink official sweepstakes rules” check box. After you have completed the registration process, submit your entry. You are eligible to enter by the internet once per 24-hour period. Limit one internet entry per household per day. Multiple entries within the same 24-hour period will be disqualified. Entries submitted via the Internet must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. Central Time (PT) on 06/30/08. Any other form of Internet or e-mail entry is void. Sponsor and its agencies assume no responsibility for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; miscommunications; failed phone or computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions or technical failures: ISP/network/web site accessibility or availability; garbled or jumbled transmissions; injury or damage to any participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the website; and/or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic, including without limitation, the incorrect or inaccurate capture of online entry information. Internet entry data that has been tampered with or altered in any way is void. Any use of robotic, automated, programmed, or like online entry methods is prohibited. Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for the Sweepstakes.
To enter by mail: you must complete an Official Entry form found on Scotch-Brite™ Displays at your local grocery and retail stores or submit an entry on a 3 x 5 inch piece of paper with your name, address, city, state, zip code and day time telephone number to Scotch-Brite™ Everything And The Kitchen Sink Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 2090, Grand Rapids, MN 55745-2090. Mail entries must be postmarked by 06/30/08 and received by 07/14/08. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, illegible, misdirected, incomplete or postage due mail/entries/requests. Limit ONE mail entry per day, per person, per envelope.

3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: All internet entrants must have a valid e-mail address. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an internet entry, entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet Access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Sponsor may require proof to its satisfaction of Entrant’s registered subscriber status. Automated entries (including but not limited to entries made using any script, macro, bot, or sweepstakes service) and facsimiles are not allowed.

4. PRIZES/ODDS/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARV”):
Fifty (50) prizes will be awarded in the Scotch-BriteTM Everything And The Kitchen Sink Sweepstakes. For each prize awarded, the winner will be given a cash option that can be chosen in lieu of the awarded prize. The cash option for each prize is less than the approximate retail value of the prize.
One (1) Grand Prize: A GE Profile Refrigerator (ARV $2099.00). The cash option associated with this prize is a check made payable to the winner in the amount of $1,650.00.
One (1) First Prize: A GE Profile Cook top (ARV $1699.00). The cash option associated with this prize is a check made payable to the winner in the amount of $1,350.00.
One (1) Second Prize: A Moen Vertical Spa, “Icon” (ARV $644.00). The cash option associated with this prize is a check made payable to the winner in the amount of $510.00.
Ten (10) Third Prizes: A Moen Kingsley Bath Faucet (ARV $300.00). The cash option associated with this prize is a check made payable to the winner in the amount of $240.00.
Seven (7) Fourth Prizes: A Moen Camelot sink (ARV $266.00). The cash option associated with this prize is a check made payable to the winner in the amount of $210.00.
Fifteen (15) Fifth Prizes: A Moen Rain Shower, “Solace” (ARV $260.00). The cash option associated with this prize is a check made payable to the winner in the amount of 200.00.
Fifteen (15) Sixth Place Prizes: An All-Clad 3.5 Quart Stainless Saucepan (ARV $149.00). The cash option associated with this prize is a check made payable to the winner in the amount of $110.00
The total approximate retail value of all prizes is $15,439.00. ALL PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED. Prizes are nontransferable. No substitution of prizes allowed. In case of unavailability of any prize, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES, IF ANY, ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF INDIVIDUAL WINNERS.

5. RANDOM DRAWING: The winners will be selected by an independent judging organization in a random drawing to be held on or about 7/21/2008 from all eligible entries received in accordance with these rules. The decisions of the independent judging organization will be final in all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. Limit of one (1) prize per household. Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received. Potential winners will be notified by mail or phone on or about 7/30/2007. Potential winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and, where lawful, Publicity Release within ten (10) days of notification. Failure to sign and return these documents by the return date specified in the prize notification letter will result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner will be chosen. If any prize correspondence (including e-mail) is returned as non-deliverable, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. Potential winners of a prize are subject to verification by Sponsor. Any materials submitted become the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. No more than the advertised number of prizes will be awarded.

6. GAME RELEASE: By entering and/or participating in the sweepstakes, winners agree to indemnify and hold Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and the agents and employees of each harmless from any and all liability, loss, harm, damage, cost or expense, including all reasonable attorney fees and court costs incurred and including, without limitation, property damage and/or personal injury which may occur in connection with acceptance and/or use of any prize awarded in this Sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes and accepting the prize, winners also consent to the use of their name, voice, likeness, and/or photograph by Sponsor, its affiliates and agents for advertising, publicity and trade purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

7. RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY AND CANCEL: Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the sweepstakes or website, or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; to be acting in violation of the terms of use of the website, or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Participants may not enter using multiple e-mail addresses or under multiple identities. Any entrant who attempts to enter with multiple e-mail addresses or under multiple identities, or uses any other device to enter multiple times within the same 24-hour period will be disqualified. In the event a dispute as to entries is submitted by multiple users having the same e-mail account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account used to participate in the sweepstakes at the actual time of participation will be deemed to be the participant and must comply with these rules. Authorized account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Sponsor reserves the right to suspend or terminate this Sweepstakes without notice if, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, the Sweepstakes becomes infected or otherwise corrupted; in such event, Sponsor will select winners from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (as appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. Notice of such action by Sponsor will be posted on www.scotch-brite.com/50sweeps.

ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

Sponsor may prosecute any fraudulent activities to the full extent of the law. The failure of either Sponsor or Prize Provider to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, act of domestic terrorism, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities outside of the control of either (excepting compliance with applicable codes and regulations) or other force majeure event will not be considered a breach of these Official Rules.

8. INFORMATION COLLECTED AND SUBMISSIONS: Participants acknowledge and agree that any information collected in connection with this Sweepstakes may be used by Sponsor for market research, and will not be shared with other organizations for commercial and other purposes. Once received, all entries and any optional submissions of comments or suggestions will become property of Sponsor, and none will be returned. Any submissions may be published on the Sponsor's website or in other collateral materials at the Sponsor's discretion, and by entering participants grant Sponsor a license to do so. By way of illustration and not limitation, Sponsor may use such information to contact participants by e-mail and/or mail to update them on products, services and upcoming events. You may opt off Sponsor's e-mail distribution list at any time by visiting www.scotchbrite.com and following the online instructions. Opting off the distribution list will not affect your chances of winning. Any information submitted to the above website is subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy located at www.3M.com/privacy.jhtml.

9. WINNER’S LIST: For a complete list of prize winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to be received by 07/30/2008, to Scotch-Brite™ Everything and the Kitchen Sink Winner’s List, PO Box 2090-WL, Grand Rapids, MN 55745-2090. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete or postage due mail/requests.
