Boxes) , city, state, zip code, date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy), plus daytime and evening telephone numbers. Then click on "submit" to enter the drawing. Entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. (CT) on October 31, 2009. Limit one (1) online entry per person, per day. B) On an Official Entry Form available (while supplies last) on special displays at participating locations, or on a plain piece of 3" x 5" paper, hand print your complete name, street address (no P.O. Boxes), city, state, zip code, e-mail address, date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy), plus daytime and evening telephone numbers. Mail your entry with appropriate postage affixed to: Cleaning Smart Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 370, Becker MN, 55308-0370, post-marked by October 31, 2009, to be received by November 7, 2009. Limit one (1) entry per stamped envelope. C) Complete and submit a valid entry for the 3M Cleaning Smart retailer sweepstakes. A valid entry into one of the 3M Cleaning Smart retailer sweepstakes will also receive one (1) entry into this national Sweepstakes.

DRAWING: One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing held on or about November 11, 2009 from all eligible entries received from entry methods combined. The potential Grand Prize winner will be notified by mail. Decisions of the judges are final. Odds of winning the Grand Prize depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
PRIZE DESCRIPTION: (1) One Grand Prize – a 2009 smart fortwo car. Approximate Retail Value: $14,000. Color, options and other specifics will be determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor does not make, nor in any manner is responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the vehicle, including but not limited to its quality, fitness for purpose or mechanical condition. Winner must have proof of a valid U.S. driver’s license and insurance to take delivery of vehicle; failure to present a valid driver’s license or insurance may result in prize forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner. Winner will be responsible for all optional equipment, title, license, insurance and registration fees required in claiming the Vehicle, applicable taxes as well as all other expenses relating to the receipt and use of Grand Prize vehicle. Winner must accept delivery of vehicle at a dealership to be determined by Sponsor. Winner must take delivery of vehicle within 30 days of notification that dealership has received vehicle. Smart fortwo is only available to a Grand Prize winner who resides in the 48 contiguous states or the District of Columbia. Grand Prize winner may choose $14,000 (payable in the form of a check) in lieu of the Grand Prize.
GENERAL RULES: The Sponsor of this Sweepstakes is 3M. Employees of 3M and its "Promotional Participants" (i.e., smart USA Distributer LLC, Gage Marketing Group, LLC, and each of their respective agencies, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, vendors, officers, directors, agents, wholesalers and retailers involved in this sweepstakes) and their immediate family members (mother, father, sister, brother, husband, wife, daughter, son, step-father, step-mother, step-daughter, step-son, step-brother, step-sister, half-brother, and half-sister) and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. No substitution, cash redemption or transfer of prize by winner permitted, other than those stated herein. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winner. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Sponsor will report value of prize as required by law. All materials submitted become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Potential Grand Prize winner must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability Form, where permitted, within14 days of attempted notification. Noncompliance within this period will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. Sponsor is not responsible for the quality or utility of any prize or any portion of prize. Sponsor makes no warranty with respect to any portion of prize. By accepting prize, winner consents to the use of his/her name, photograph or likeness for publicity or advertising purposes without further compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law. By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and the Promotional Participants from any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from or in connection with this Sweepstakes and/or acceptance or use of the prize, including liability for personal injury, bodily injury, death, damages and/or loss. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. The failure of either Sponsor or the Promotional Participants to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, act of domestic terrorism, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities outside of the control of either (excepting compliance with applicable codes and regulations) or other force majeure event will not be considered a breach of these Official Rules. LIMITATIONS OF LIABLITY: Sponsor and other Releasees are not responsible for: (i) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, technology outage, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, whether caused by the sender or any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (ii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iii) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (iv) electronic, clerical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the transmission, receipt or processing of entries or notification of winners; or (v) any injury or damage to persons or property, including but not limited to entrant's computer, hardware or software, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes. In the event of termination, prize will be awarded in a manner to be determined by Sponsor consistent with state requirements. Under no circumstances, including negligence, shall the Sponsor or the other Releasees be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages that result from the use of or inability to use the web site, or out of any breach of any warranty. This exclusion or limitation of liability will not apply to the extent that any applicable statute prohibits such exclusion or limitation of liability.
