Unlike chemical-cured adhesives that give you a short window of opportunity for bracket positioning, APC adhesive coated appliance system technology provides you with virtually unlimited positioning time because the adhesive is not set until it's light-cured.

Here's how the APC adhesive coated appliance "pick-place-cure" procedure works. Following your normal preparatory steps - prophylaxis, etching and priming - pick the APC adhesive coated bracket from its individual container, place it onto the tooth and cure with a curing light. The light initiates the cure of the adhesive, working from the outer edge inward until a full bond is formed. APC adhesive coated appliance system's light-cured adhesive allows archwires to be tied in immediately after bonding.
