The ChassisTouch 450 monitor is equipped with MicroTouch™ Near Field Imaging touch technology - the preferred touch solution for applications that require maximum durability and input flexibility in harsh environments. Near Field Imaging projected capacitive technology is very accurate and durable, yet sensitive enough to detect touches from both bare and gloved hands.
Near Field Imaging touch screens are made of strengthened glass and a laminated construction with no mechanically sensitive components. Combined with a NEMA 4X / IP66 bezel-to-touch screen seal and 3M's shock and vibration specifications, the ChassisTouch 450 monitor is at home anywhere from shopping malls to manufacturing facilities to offshore drilling rigs.
