Focused, driven and committed since 1983, Roush Racing today has established itself as one of the premier organizations in NASCAR. Inspired by the leadership of Jack Roush, every team, every driver and every employee of Roush Racing strives toward and exudes excellence in every aspect of the sport. From its first NASCAR Winston Cup victory in 1989 through placing a record five drivers in the 2005 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Chase for the Cup, Roush Racing's integrity and dedication has built the largest and most successful motorsports team in NASCAR. With five Nextel Cup teams, four Busch Series teams and three Craftsman Truck Series teams, Roush stands at the forefront of NASCAR racing.
Nine of NASCAR’s top drivers call Roush Racing home. Greg Biffle, Matt Kenseth, Carl Edwards, Jamie McMurray and David Ragan race in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series. Greg Biffle, Todd Kluever, Matt Kenseth, David Ragan and Carl Edwards race in the NASCAR Busch Series. Erik Darnell, Peter Shepherd and Travis Kvapil will race in the Craftsman Truck series for Roush. Over the last six years, Roush has earned four championships in NASCAR’s national series. Biffle brought Roush his first championship in 2000 in the Truck Series, then followed that up with a Busch Series Championship in 2001. In 2003, Kenseth became the last driver to win the title of Winston Cup Champion (Roush’s first Cup Championship). In 2004, Roush Racing driver Kurt Busch became the first Nextel Cup Champion, earning back-to-back championships for Roush Racing. Roush Racing now has captured championship titles in each of NASCAR’s top three series. With more than 330 total race victories and 31 series championships in all forms of racing in more than 20 years, Roush Racing continues its winning tradition into 2007 and beyond. Roush Racing, a division of Roush Enterprises Inc., is headquartered in Concord, N.C., and Livonia, Mich. Roush Enterprises provides comprehensive, integrated automotive design, prototyping, testing and manufacturing. But Roush means more than racing. For more than 25 years, Roush has been an industry leader in providing advanced engineering and vehicle development services. Roush’s extensive Testing and Development services are a critical element of its ability to provide customers with complete, start-to-finish services. With more than 18 developmental test sites, Roush Test and Development services support a full range of the automotive and power generation applications. Roush’s development test cells are capable of providing climate-controlled combustion air, high-speed data acquisition, alternate fuel capabilities and emissions testing. Roush’s advanced control systems provide a high degree of accuracy and repeatability in testing results, easy access to the control parameters, and quick analysis of engine and combustion data. Programs can be developed to provide a wide variety of testing, including: power, mapping, emissions and combustion. Roush’s test facilities offer turnkey services, with on-site engineering personnel, technical support staff, electronics technicians, mechanical and fabrication support, and complete warehousing capabilities. Jack Roush's lifelong passion for hot rods has been a driving force in the development of Roush Performance Products (RPP) – an exciting line of aftermarket performance products. Race Performance bridges the gap between road and track, seamlessly blending Roush's legendary racing talent with the formidable engineering and manufacturing skills of Roush Industries. Roush Performance is the first specialty-vehicle company to combine track-proven race technologies with advanced automotive engineering. Once again, Roush leads the field – as a testament to Roush's unrivaled record, Roush Performance's exhilarating products are the only aftermarket performance products that can be purchased directly from your local Ford dealer. Roush Performance was established in 1995, with the development of a manifold package and tool kit introduced at that year's SEMA show. Jack Roush's personal preference for hot street Mustangs (he owns more than a dozen) provided the inspiration for Roush Performance to design, engineer and manufacture a line of high-performance Ford Mustangs. These vehicles were met with tremendous critical acclaim. In 1977, Roush Performance launched the first Roush truck package, and established a Roush dealer network of 100 dealers across the country. Their sales have increased at least 100 percent since 1998. In 2001, RPP launched the Roush Stage 3 Mustang and expanded their dealer network to 225. In 2002, Roush Performance introduced the 360R, which shares many of the Stage 3's performance and technological enhancements in a more economical package. The vehicles and components produced by Roush Performance carry a strong imprint of Jack Roush's vision, passion for performance and commitment to excellence. Roush personally approves the design, engineering, fit, finish and overall performance of each package, ensuring that his personal standards are met prior to production startup and product release. As technology and design continue to evolve, so does the Roush line of vehicles and parts. Roush Performance Products is committed to leveraging the latest in automotive and motorsports technologies to continually provide our customers the ultimate driving experience – the perfect combination of race car and road car. |
