Being safe means making the right choices. And to do this, you need to be able to understand road signs. They tell you what to do, and where it is safe – or dangerous – to go.
But knowing your road signs isn't enough. You need to do what they say!
Road signs are made of reflective materials – just like those that make your clothes and your bike easy to see in the dark. Next time you are out at night, notice how bright the road signs are in car headlights. This makes them easy to read and helps you take the right decisions as you ride.
