Reflectors can be part of lensing in tail lamps. Reflectors or reflective material must be visible to the rear at night from distances within 30m (100ft.) to 183m (600ft.) when exposed to lower light beam of headlamps.

** When turn indicators are provided, the amber flashing warning lamps shall be used as the turn indicators. When a turn is to be signaled, the flashing lamp(s) opposite the direction of turn shall become steady burning until the turn signal is cancelled. The flashing lamp(s) in the direction of the turn shall increase in flashing rate to a minimum 20 and maximum 110 flashes per minute.
