To ensure the best possible levels of day and nighttime visibility,
the CSA standard requires using lights at all times, while Manitoba
has legislated the use of flags during the day, and lights at night,
to mark road travelling farm equipment. These requirements are
very specific and are in addition to the required SMV sign and
recommended reflective strips. To see a general overview of where
and when to place these items, please see the Ensure Proper
Placement section of this site.
