New
3M Inks Improve Productivity
London...3M recently
launched new 3M Scotchlite Process Colour Series 990 for use
on Series 3M Scotchlite Engineer Grade Reflective Sheeting
Series 3200 and 5200.
Using the new inks in the sign manufacturing
process will greatly increase productivity as they have a
much faster drying time. In the past, Series 700 inks took
between
24-48 hours to dry. Now, Series 990 is dry and suitable
for packaging in three hours. In addition to increasing productivity,
the Series 990 will help increase available space in the manufacturing
facility. Jobs will be able to move in and out much faster.
Series 990 may be conveyor dried and requires
no clearcoat. The inks do not have to be thinned prior to
use.
