The New Trend in Preserving Wedding
Memories - Scrapbooking
Scotch® brand from 3M celebrates its 75th Anniversary by inviting
Canadians to enter the Scotch® Great Canadian Scrapbook Challenge
– Wedding Edition
London, Ontario –
Over the past 75 years wedding
rituals have evolved, however one thing that has remained constant is the
desire to preserve memories of that special day. Months of preparation and
anticipation are over in a few fleeting hours, so it’s not surprising
that brides and grooms and their family and friends are looking to capture
the memories – and the trendiest way is through scrapbooking.
Scrapbooking has become one of the fastest growing hobbies in Canada. In
recent years, this traditional form of preserving memories has taken off
with modern relevance and sophistication.
“Photo albums are giving way to scrapbook pages when it comes to
preserving life’s milestones,” says Frances Peets, Scrapbook
Dimensions. “The need to remember events in our lives has given the
art of scrapbooking a new meaning. Wedding keepsakes like flowers,
invitations, garter belts and love letters allow for memories to be close
at hand and shared with family and friends. Weddings are a time to honour
our hopes and dreams and lifelong friendships, a scrapbook keeps our
memories at our finger tips – safely preserved for generations to
enjoy.”
Weddings Relived
In celebration of the Scotch® brand 75th anniversary, Canadians are
being asked bring their favourite wedding memories back to life through a
scrapbook page.
Between April 30 and June 30, 2005, Canadians can create a

the past or present and of anyone special (personal, parents, grandparents,
daughter, friend or relative). There will be three prizes awarded: Grand
prize - $7,500, 2nd prize - $1,750 and 3rd prize - $750. To enter the
