3M Canada Company and Aerion Technologies Inc.
Form Strategic Alliance
3M Canada Company and Aerion Technologies Inc. of Englewood, Colorado have signed an agreement making 3M the sole and exclusive distributor in Canada of the Aim line of portable gas monitoring equipment manufactured by Aerion.
Effective July 1, 2005 3M will be marketing and selling Aim's portable gas monitors under the 3M brand. Aerion is recognized as an industry leader in gas monitoring technology with state-of-the-art products to meet the ever-increasing challenges of workplace safety.
“The addition of Aim's product line and technology expertise positions 3M to better serve our customers in the industrial, oil and gas, mining and communications markets,” says Joe Meaden, Vice President, Electro, Communications and Industrial Businesses, 3M Canada Company.
Mike Strandell, President and CEO of Aerion Technologies Inc., says the agreement with 3M Canada builds on the long-term partnership the two companies have enjoyed.
