Foundation Stick-It to Breast Cancer
New Post-It® Pink Ribbon Super Sticky Notes introduced to raise funds, create awareness
London, Ontario –
Starting today, the simple act of jotting down a message or a reminder can help to create a future without breast cancer — if the message is on a new 3M Post-it® Pink Ribbon Super Sticky Note.
Proceeds from each sale packet of the new specially marked Post-It Notes will benefit the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF), which has supported the advancement of breast cancer research, education, diagnosis and treatment across the country since 1986.
“Canadians use millions of 3M Post-It Notes to remind themselves of important things everyday and now they can use Post-It Pink Ribbon Super Sticky Notes to remember, and support, a very important cause,”
said Gary Shawyer, Senior Marketing Manager, Post-It Notes, 3M Canada. “We’re calling upon all Canadians to
help us stick-it to breast cancer.”
3M’s Super Sticky notes are specially designed to stay sticky longer, and can be posted practically anywhere, including non-paper surfaces like doors, refrigerators and walls.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with 3M on this special initiative” says Lyn McDonell, CEO of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. “We all use notes to remind us to do important things, I hope every Canadian woman will start by using a Post-It Pink Ribbon Super Sticky Note to remind themselves to be proactive about their breast health.
The new Post-It® Pink Ribbon Super Sticky Notes can be found in select corporate supply catalogues, including Corporate Express®, Basics®, Grand & Toy®, CIS®, and Novexco® or purchased directly by consumers at Staples™ and Walmart® across Canada.
