Creative Painting Techniques for the Home
A new booklet entitled Architapetural provides an inspirational series of
painting projects developed by the tape experts at 3M
London, ON - As the cooler weather approaches, we begin to think about ways to spruce
up our homes. But who has a lot of spare time to invest in home projects? A new booklet developed by Scotch®
Blue Painters Tape from 3M provides the inspiration with four delightful do-it-yourself projects, ranging
from easy to advanced.
The booklet provides step-by step instructions for dressing up a piece of furniture, bringing
drama to a wall or transforming a room. Whether youre a beginner, or an expert painter, knowing the materials
required for the job in advance and using the right tools the first time, always makes things much easier. All the materials
needed for each project are conveniently listed on the back page of the booklet.
The projects are: - A Tic Tac Toy box to spruce up a kids room - Easy
- A faux headboard and pin-up board (the chosen project is for a childs room) - Intermediate
- Frame it Up (A creative way to paint around art work) - Intermediate
- Wainscotting (Great anywhere, but we chose a dining room) - Difficult
For best results, use Scotch Blue Painters Tape to ensure the project goes smoothly. It
removes cleanly, even after several days on the wall, leaving a sharp line precisely where you want it. There is no
surface damage, and no need for touch ups.
Youll find the booklet, a listing of where the product is sold, and additional information on the
