Fun Projects to Create with Children
New Web site showcases spring and summer craft projects
London, ON - 3M Canada's Office and Consumer Division has just launched an interactive Web site with a
host of creative, new craft projects. The site, www.3M.com/CA/fun features step-by-step
instructions on unique craft projects. "Our fun projects encourage outside the box thinking," says Sharon Litwin,
marketing manager, Consumer & Office Products Markets, 3M Canada. "They encourage people to tap into
their creative side."
The site also introduces funky new Post-it® Brand Notes and Scotch® Brand Tapes used in the
creation of these projects, including a Pinch-to-Grow-an-Inch growth chart, spring breezes wind chimes, garden plant
markers and spring cleaning weekly chores list (which could easily then become the cottage chores list or the classroom
chores list). New craft ideas will be posted regularly and site-users are encouraged to submit their own unique craft
projects for an opportunity to win a selection of Scotch® Brand and Post-it® Brand products.
The people at 3M allowed their imaginations to "go wild" with the creation of these new products
(check out the Scotch® Brand Decorative Tapes in wild and crazy prints or the Scotch® Brand © Disney Decorative
Tapes as well as the Post-it® Brand © Disney and the Post-it® Brand Shaped Notes) and the site encourages users
to let their imagination go as well. It also features an ad challenge where users can combine Scotch® Brand products and
Post-it® Brand products along with song lyrics to create a new ad - or a message to someone special. So click into the site,
