electrostatic systems, service and support, has led it back
to the systems integration business, offering best-in-class
piezo ink jet printing solutions.
3M™ announces that it will begin selling integrated
solutions based on the VUTEk™ UltraVu™ 2360 SC Printer,
Scotchprint® Graphic Maker Software, 3M™ piezo inks
and 3M graphic films. Other systems will follow.
3M™ customers seeking to produce Scotchprint® Graphics
using high-productivity piezo ink jet technology now can be
assured of the same high level of 3M™ service and commitment
to which they have been accustomed.
3M™ has and continues to sell the Scotchprint® Printer
2000, a high-productivity electrostatic printer. It also has
sold third party equipment including the Raster Graphics DCS5442
(now part of the Gretag family of products) and the Xerox®
Colorgrafx™ 8954 and 54E. In some countries, 3M™
integrates and sells the Gretag Arizona™ 180 printer
and facilitates the sale of the Scitex Pressjet™-W.

Working with VUTEk™, 3M™ has developed 3M™
Piezo Ink Jet Ink Series 2300 and a broad portfolio of optimized
imaging media for applications ranging from short-term interior
to demanding, long-term exterior applications.
The combination of the VUTEk™ UltraVu™2360 SC printer
and support services plus 3M's™ broad range of materials
meets all output needs, from posters, banners and point-of-purchase
graphics, to fleet graphics and transit bus wraps and shelters.
The VUTEk™ UltraVu™ 2360 SC is a two-meter (80-inch)
wide printer capable of producing images at 360 dpi resolution.
3M™ Piezo Ink Jet Ink Series 2300 produces extreme print
quality and resolution in either four-color (CMYK) or six-color
(CMYK/light cyan/light magenta). In addition, VUTEk™
print head warranties now include 3M™ inks.
When produced by one of 3M's™ Scotchprint® Graphics
Authorized Manufacturers, graphics from a VUTEk™ UltraVu™
2360 SC printer can be branded as a Scotchprint® Graphic.
Customers who register as Scotchprint® Graphics Authorized
Manufacturers may utilize 3M™ for business support that
extends beyond traditional product-oriented customer service.
For example, they can rely on 3M™ for business development
and marketing planning seminars, product training and e-business
support and receive reimbursement for advertising programs
that promote the Scotchprint® Graphics brand.
3M™ and VUTEk™ Inc. formed an alliance in January,

4000 and the announcement that graphics produced by one of
