3M Improves Electrostatic Printing Productivity
Scotchprint® Toner System Enhanced for Scotchprint® Printer 2000

London, ON - 3M Commercial Graphics Division has announced the availability of an enhanced Scotchprint® Toner System. This proprietary system improves the colour consistency of Scotchprint® Graphics produced on the Scotchprint® Printer 2000.

"This latest product enhancement confirms 3M's commitment to electrostatic printing technology," said Jeff Uzbalis, Scotchprint® System Specialist, Commercial Graphics Division. "Upgrading to the Scotchprint® Toner System provides improved toner consistency, resulting in better job-to-job replication."

In addition to consistent print panels, the system benefits owners with less down time, as well as less toner and media waste. The integrated system function check allows better communication between hardware and operator, reducing operating error. And the auto pump/line cleaning and improved warning system improves pump reliability and provides runaway pump protection.

Both the Scotchprint® Toner System Model 9533 (formerly named the 3M™ High Capacity Toner System Model 9531) and Scotchprint® Printer 2000 are components of the 3M Automated Intelligent Manufacturing System (AIMS). They work together to provide customers with faster, more efficient, more consistent graphic output through a roll-to-roll manufacturing process from beginning to end.

Scotchprint® Graphics from the Commercial Graphics Division helps customers worldwide build their brand by providing a total large-format graphics solution. 3M meets this customer objective by manufacturing or certifying large-format graphic software, hardware, inks, toners, graphic films and flexible sign facings used to create large-format finished graphics of unparalleled consistency, reliability and durability.
