Cuts and scrapes could bring smiles to kids instead of tears thanks to a partnership between Disney and wound care specialists 3M. 3M can use the famous faces of a number of Disney's animated characters on their first aid products, designed especially for children. "It's an ideal partnership; Disney is trusted and recognised worldwide as a leader in family entertainment and 3M is universally acknowledged as the most innovative developer in a number of products, including wound care technology," says 3M Medical Market Development Manager Carla Godward. "Kids can now choose to heal their cuts and grazes with images of their favourite characters to make them smile." The latest face to feature on the new 3M Nexcare(TM) Gentle Paper Plasters range is Winnie the Pooh, the world's friendliest bear and the most popular children's character. The paper plasters are suitable for youngster's skin and the lightweight backing makes the plaster breathable. The 3M Nexcare(TM) Waterproof Plasters with Tattoo Designs, featuring characters from Disney's 102 Dalmatians and Monsters Inc, have proved extremely popular. 3M aims to build on this with the scheduled launch of new products in the future to tie in with other Disney movie releases.
