High adhesion and yet also good removability are ideal for a wide range of applications, for example in exhibition stand construction, for POS publicity materials, for signs and in electronic engineering. For temporary uses such as on exhibition stands the tape can be removed without leaving a residue, thus avoiding cleaning costs on rented surfaces or those intended for re-use. The high initial adhesion enables working processes to continue immediately, thereby ensuring efficient procedures. The tape's temperature resistance of up to 100°C opens up new potential uses in temperature-dependent applications.
3M's 4658-F adhesive tape is UV- and moisture-resistant. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor joining applications with glass, metal, ceramics, card, wood, plastics (incl. low-energy plastics) and other materials. The adhesive tape is available in standard widths of 12 mm and 19 mm. The production of stampings is possible for special applications.
