The Austrian road safety committee (KfV) has, in association with the accident insurance company, Allgemeine Unfallversicherungsanstalt (AUVA), launched an initiative to make child seats more attractive and appeal to parents’ sense of responsibility as unsecured children are seven times more likely to be killed or seriously injured in an accident than secured children.
