With its new Top Hat bumpons, 3M has added two specialties to its line of self-adhesive stands, protective guards, or spacer elements. These new products are designed especially for use in recesses and feature a new adhesive system which adheres perfectly to low-energy surfaces. That means Top Hat bumpons are ideal for use as stands in the plastics and toy industry, in the electronics field, and in machinery and equipment construction.
Top Hat bumpons from 3M are pressure sensitive, permanently flexible polyurenthane buffers with an adhesive coating on the back. They absorb vibrations, shocks, impacts and noise and can be used in the widest variety of applications as non-slip stands, stoppers or protective guards. Aside from being very slip-proof and abrasion resistant (no streak marks when pushed), they are highly resistant to aging while retaining their original properties.
