Oil is one of our most important energy resources and the basis for many modern materials. There is a constant risk of soil and water pollution anywhere oil is stored, shipped and processed. The effects of this contamination on human beings and the environment can be catastrophic. Oil-bonding sheeting from 3M helps to absorb oil spills on land and water quickly and completely.

3M oil-bonding sheeting is easy to handle. It absorbs oil and petroleum products very quickly. Since it is water-repellent, it continues to float even when saturated. Unlike conventional granules, it absorbs up to 20 times its weight in oil.
