Advertising agents find a baby on its doorstep

 Bright baby left on the doorstep of local creatives. Under the cover of night, 3M left local advertising agents a baby on their doorstep. In doing so, 3M were inviting local advertising agents to join in a special advertising effort in which they would take the little orphan under their wing, play with it and nurture it, allowing it to grow up big and strong.

FloorMinder is the name of this latest innovation from 3M. It is a special foil used for floor-mounted advertising. The new medium has the stuff for becoming a real pet of the advertising industry. With FloorMinder, creative ad staffs can now use floors to play out their ideas and to make their campaigns even more effective. Point of sale advertising can suddenly capture people's attention again and be incredibly effective.

There are no limits to the possibilities for this new medium. It can be used for eye-catching POS advertising, as a way of giving directions at airports, bus stops, train stations, recreational facilities and shopping centers, for short-term use in promotions, trade fairs, and exhibitions, and to add a creative touch in special applications at museums, galleries, and theaters.
