Dangerously invisible
...is what children are when it turns dark and when visibility is poor
During the months of the year when the sun goes down earlier and skies take on a leaden pallor, even the most colorful children's clothes are lost in the uniform and dangerous grayness surrounding them. Thanks to reflecting materials from 3M, children are now easier to see in traffic.
In the "Make yourself visible" campaign launched by the Austrian Ministry for Education and Cultural Affairs, children now have the opportunity to make their shoes, boots, helmets, rain gear, etc. more visible by attaching 3M Scotchlite™ reflective tape to them.
Every school child in grades 1 to 4 can purchase a "Make yourself visible" kit at the low price of just ATS 50. Individuals wearing clothing with 3M Scotchlite material are visible from a distance of 160 meters. That gives drivers more time to react and helps to prevent traffic accidents.
