Spare a thought for the fine men and women of the postal service who give us such great, unswerving service throughout the year. You can do them, and yourself, a favour by packing your gifts properly, to make sure they arrive in mint condition.
Here are some tips:
Wrap your gifts individually in packing paper or bubble wrap. Put the wrapped gifts in a gift box and the gift box into a larger shipping box. Fill the shipping box with a shipping material like our very own Scotch® Brand Packing Noodles. These are clean, convenient and lightweight. But you may find youre hungry again 30 minutes later.
If youre on a budget, save money by asking for boxes at the supermarket or liquor store. This will preserve your ready cash to buy the maximum amount of Scotch® Brand Packaging Tape, which is available at all fine office supply, drug and mass merchandise stores nationwide, as well as the aforementioned supermarket.
Did you know that nearly one in five Americans uses his teeth to cut packaging tape?
Considering the small fortune your parents paid for orthodonture, we think this practice
is irresponsible in the extreme. So we created Scotch® Brand Tear-by-Hand Packaging
Tape for those occasions when there are no knives or Scotch® Paper Cutters handy.
It costs a lot less than your parents paid for those pearly whites of yours. And it meets all applicable standards of the Canadian Postal Service for standard mail, and UPS.
Now that your gifts are wrapped, boxed and ready for shipping, your next stop is the post office counter. If you cant face the lines at the post office or if you feel youve deserved a little light entertainment, take a look at our Plaid Ads, or choose another of our fabulously plaid pages.
