Boating enthusiasts prefer the look of a smooth gelcoated surface vs. vinyl appliques that are quickly scuffed and scraped looking. From a simple color separation line to unique graphic designs, higher quality results are now achieved using Scotch® Fine Line Tape - No. 218.

A specially extruded matte finish green polypropylene tape provides the finest color line separation available because of its thinness. Scotch® Fine Line Tape - No. 218 stretches easily for smooth curves, yet tears easily by hand. It is the preferred tape for in-mold gelcoat color separation in the production of multi-color hulls and decks.

Using Scotch® Fine Line Tape - No. 218 Linered allows plotted graphics to be used to further expand the design capabilities for in-mold processing. The linered tape can be converted for terrific graphic designs. Multiple color applications are possible with the same application for sensational graphic images.
