    3M™ Pressure Sensitive Acrylic Foam Tape 5674 is a 1.14 mm (0.045 in) thick, gray, double-coated acrylic foam tape designed for the attachment of emblems, nameplates, moldings, step pads and other automotive trim.

    The key feature of 3M AFT 5674 is TX-1 adhesive on the liner side of the tape. TX-1 adhesive is designed to bond to low surface energy plastics such as TPO and PP without the use of an adhesion promoter. 3M AFT 5674 has DS-4 adhesive on the nonlinear side of the tape for bonding to the back of the trim part. Since product performance will depend on actual conditions within a specific application, it is essential that the user evaluate the 3M product to determine whether it is fit for a particular material purpose and suitable for the user’s method of application.
