The 3M™ Electroplating/Anodizing Tape 484 is used for masking various surfaces during electroplating and anodizing operations. The vinyl backing is conformable to rough or irregular surfaces and helps provide temperature resistance, and resistance to most chemicals used in the electroplating process.

Our 3M™ Electroplating/Anodizing Tape 484 is a tan, 5.6 mil (0.14 mm) vinyl tape with a rubber adhesive that is abrasion resistant and designed to provide lower adhesion and unwind than our 3M™ Electroplating Tape 470. During the demanding electroplating and anodizing processes, it's essential to find a tape that offers excellent resistance to chemicals and heat. We've provided the tape that meets the demands of the job.
